RANGERS stormed to a comprehensive 5-1 win over Alloa to give them an immaculate start to the season and see the side net eight in their opening two games.
It was a frantic start to the game at Recreation Park, with three goals in the opening nine minutes. Two belonged to Rangers with James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn, from the spot, adding to their tallies.
Mark Warburton’s side were four-nil to the good at the break after Jason Holt and Kenny Miller added to the rout.
